Coursework in New York

Coursework is defined as the studies a person must complete during the course of his or her education.  For example, the coursework of a bachelor’s degree in pastry arts includes preparation techniques and all other classes necessary to earn that degree.  Upon completing the coursework for a specific area of study, the student is then awarded a diploma or certificate. Coursework can also be completed independently, allowing you to take specific classes to gain other knowledge and skills.
