Italian Culinary Academy

The Italian Culinary Academy is part of the International Culinary Center and a sister school to the French Culinary Institute.  It offers two courses: an eight-session introduction to the basics of Italian cuisine and an in-depth 29-week culinary experience that divides the student’s time between New York and Parma, Italy.  Like the FCI, the Italian Culinary Institute uses a Total Immersion (sm) method of teaching that allows students to learn a large amount in a relatively short time.  Especially of interest to culinary students is this academy’s custom-designed kitchen, which features a brick-lined pizza oven, a marble-topped chef’s station, stainless steel work surfaces, and the finest professional equipment.
